In 1994, 15-year-old Jimmy Dettman founded JDProductions and began his journey by serving as the DJ for a roller rink in his native Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He soon ventured into the world of weddings and discovered a passion for being a part of one of the biggest days for couples.
Since moving to the Black Hills in 2010, JDProductions has become a household name in the local wedding DJ industry. In addition to weddings, JDProductions has produced for corporate parties, high school proms, JROTC banquets, and even spent a season as the arena DJ for a local minor league hockey team. No event is too big or too small for our team.
Jimmy and his team pride themselves in attention to detail, flexibility, and developing a personal connection with each couple to create a unique and memorable experience.
